Both for balance. You can take the most practical parts of them and mold them into a well rounded art. Wrestling seems to demand more strength and power, where as Judo focuses on technique and core balance. In my opinion none is better that the other, and learning just one my do well against a layman, but
a rounded martial artist will always have an edge against a student of one discipline. Look at Hoyce Gracie. A true badass in
his discipline but against a rounded fighter like Hughes he doesn't do so well. You be the judge.

What are you trying to accomplish that would make one better than the other?
They both rock.
Ive seen some Jiu-jitsu, tkd, karate, and kung fu guys get suplexed WWF style.
Its the person that kicks ***.
I know when I go to fight in tournaments, I use KF, Karate, and TKD to fight. They NEVER have said, you cant use that move, cause its not in the curriculum. Martial arts end up pointing to the same thing, The body only works a limited number of ways, Eventually, at some level, or place, all styles contain the same moves. Just becaues you dont practice them at school, doesnt mean you didnt learn the philosphy of body mechanics that allow massive beatdown to the guy standing infront of you.
Id say Judo because its more technical and complete for a beginner. You can learn basic wrestling watching WWE.
Highschool type wrestling is a basic WWF type of thing.
Although, id say, if a wrestler and a judo guy that were of the same build, skill, age, stats, ect.. got into it... id bet on JUDO.
Judo is watered down Japanese Jiu-Jitsu. Judo was made for competition. Japanese Jiu-Jitsu has all Judo moves and more.
In Judo all arm breaks are taken out. It doesnt take smart person to figure out how an elbow snaps though.
Judo tournaments usually have more prize money than wrestling, are more common, and held on everycorner like starbucks. Wrestling, unless you are planning on being a teacher,.. fighting is limited to a few organizations. There is always the WWE... but... what are the chances of getting into "Redneck Soap Operas for the closet case"? Anything is possible, but the odds are stacked.
If possible, learn both.
Can anyone take our knowledge away from us? Take away what we have learned? I hope not.
For kids? Judo
Judo Judo Judo,
wrestling, Judo

Judo requires a lot more technique, mental capacity, and speed. Wrestling is more dependent on strenght. I would say that Judo is better. I have done both and know people who have done both and judo is much much harder

Which ever you feel is most enjoyable to YOU. The practitioner makes the art....not the other way around.
