or do they get rid of bacteria if some do which are the ones that get rid of both

Breath mints primarily cover odor they do not eliminate it.

To eliminate bad breath you need to maintain propper oral care, including brushing your tongue. But even with doing that you could have bad breath.

My father has horrible halitocis and he uses breathmints to keep it smelling 'okay' but he also uses this stuff called Approach. It's an odor eliminator and it's great for everything but it's safe enough that he can spray it right in his mouth.

Makes family gatherings much easier. :)

Well really I believe breath mints all they do is cover up. I think gum is better for example the sugar free kind will help u like orbit

Yes they just cover up the odour, they have not effect on the bacteria in your mouth.

gum is better because the promote saliva which is a natural bateria remover.

they can make it worse because of all the suger in them best to just brush your teeth

for me breath mints burn my tongue.
