there are a range of beers that permit for this, more often than not interior sight craft brews. right here in Milwaukee, the most elementary beer to serve with a slice of orange is Blue Moon. Leinenkugel's, a community brewer, also makes a summer season seasonal brew observed as sunset Wheat it somewhat is giant with an orange slice.

It's a marketing gimmick...a ploy to attempt to differentiate and
separate Corona from the other "more common" beers on the market...
to give it a "uniqueness" not found with other beers.
I mean, c'mon...when does lemon/lime juice ever taste good in beer?
Give me a break.

Because Corona is the Schlitz of Mexico. It tastes like crap and the citrus is to disguise the taste. Marketing agents in the US just figured out how to make cool commercials to get the herd of TV addict cows how to buy their crappy product and make it seem cool. You want to drink real beer, drink Shiner Bock.

I'm sorry - I don't know! However, I see it all the time at this restaurant I work in. I am gonna write the Corona beer joint and tell them they should add that flavoring - people seem to like it so much! I wouldn't know, my choice of beer is Black Ice.

Well I dont know for sure, but I imagine its for the taste.
As far as I am concerned it does not help one bit.
In fact I dont even think that beer could draw flies, even with a rotten piece of fruit in it.
Oh yeah cool avatar that album kicks a**!

The lemon/lime is actually used to clean the top of the bottle so you can hygenically drink out of it. The acidity kills the bacteria. You are meant to wipe the lime across the open top before you drink out of the bottle.

to cover up the stink and the foul taste. beer shouldnt come in clear or green bottles because it lets light get to the beer. that skunk smell means the beer is bad.
