I mean, I thought I was doing okay and then my gram had these pictures she took at my son's tee ball game, and those hips of mine are a bit wider than I remember...
I think I should keep pretending I am as skinny as I thought I was... LOL

I've had 2 kids and I'm a size 8, I don't think that's too bad at all. I just find it interesting how harshly we all judge ourselves, and wondered if you all did the same as me... don't worry I have pretty good self confidence :)

I hear ya! If you were once thin and then not as thin as you used to be, it's an odd feeling. Up until 35, I could eat whatever I wanted and after 2 kids, I was still in a size 5 Junior. Then things changed and I am now a womans size 6 and thats a big difference when you are used to being thin as a rail.

Every time I look in the mirror! That's why I started going to a gym. If you keep pretending you are skinny, your hips won't be the only thing that's spread next time your gram takes a picture!

ALL THE TIME!!!
I totally understand what you are talking about. I never think my neck looks fat until I see a picture and some weird face I was making. Even worse than that is looking back at old college photos and seeing how thin I was.
I think this is completely normal. Most people are more critical of their appearance than others. Most likely, you look great!
Good luck!

Yes, I have, but I think it's better to....
Rephrase the words to yourself.
How could say it to be more encouraging to yourself?
"You know what I'm so glad I was able to be at my son's tee ball game. Maybe I should participate in a sport too, so I wouldn't be as concerned about my appearance, but my health and family."
Maintaining a healthy lifestyle doesn't stop once you've attained an ideal BMI or weight or clothes size.

who doesn't? lol
before I had kids I never gave it a second thought..but then, I didn't have to, I was skinnier than I should have been. But it seems after I had my two kids, no matter how much I lose or weigh, I feel like I need to lose more

thus the old saying "the camera doesn't lie".
tape the picture to your bathroom mirror whenever you decide you want to shed those few extra pounds. it's great motivation. replace it with a new photo every week until you like what you see, then you're done.

I'd keep pretending! The pics. never do people justice! You're probably a lot better than you think that you are.
