Dogma are the rules made by man that stand between us and our Gods. Without Dogma, we would be fully free to express ourselves and our connection to our God the way our creator meant us to.

No God would make us as individuals and give us all only one acceptable path to Him. Only through releasing ourselves from Dogma and finding our own way can we ever hope to find the way to God.

That's an awesome movie. I especially love the part when Silent Bob throws them off the subway and uses the classic Indiana Jones line "No Tickets" awesome. But as far as the religious dogma goes I concur. That's why my karma ran over my dogma

I really enjoyed Dogma. My favorite segment is the opening when Matt Damon convinces a nun to leave the church.

I also really like Chris Rock's role in the film.

Dogma is a fancy word for Divine Revelations or Ultimate Truths.

These revealed truths are a part of learning and faith. Nothing wrong with that process. We develop these in most area of our lives. Faith is no exception to this process of gaining and knowing truth.

Dogma is man made.

You hate what you do not understand. If you don't like dogma, then don't practice it, I guess...

Nathaniel Hawthorne once wrote, "If one simple uneducated man can be saved by grace, it makes all of the great theological tomes of the ages irrelevant"

I guess he agreed with you :)
