How do you know they aren't?
The actions of men on Earth may simply mirror the actions of the gods in heaven; in which case, it would indicate that the gods are surely at war.

Well it all depends on how you look at things. They very well could be fighting each other much like the soap opera that is Greek mythology. And how do you know that they are not fighting? because you don't see it or feel it or read about it? It all depends on your perspective. Some might view gods to be much like enlightened people and they have no need for violence which are caused by our egos which would mean that they are ego-less. Again it all depends on how you view "the gods".

Because gods are not stupid. Besides, gods did fight a lot in all ancient mythologies. The 'one God' must have eliminated them all. Now he's bored an he's making humans do all the fighting, especially through God's promised land Israel.

Because there are NO gods.
We stupid mortals fight because it holds some evolutionary advantage to kill those who do don't share a great deal of genetic material with us. This is why genocide is such a popular human pasttime.

Actually if you read the lore of various traditions and religions the Gods are constantly bickering and fighting amongst themselves. They really aren't that different from us mortals. After all we WERE created in their image.

Hey man, according to my knowledge from the bible I believed that there is only One True God and his name his Jehovah God, but the fighting that we are experiencing now is not cause the the true God. But is served as a sign of coming of Jesus Christ. The only spiritually battle we are fighting is to proves Satan Wrong since he said that men only served God due to their blessing. All of the signs we are seeing is showing us that our worlds is coming to an end and we need to get our senses together and turn around from our wicked ways. Remember Jesus say " Nation will rise against Nation and kingdom against kingdom. These served as sign of the conclusion of the systems of things.

Because they are not real people... they are just beliefs. And, they are smart not to fight unlike us stupid mortals. All the religions are trying to tell us NOT to fight and NOT be be mean and lie and stuff. that's why the gods do not fight. other wise... they would be hypocrites.

Some don't believe in God. Some Only have one God. It really depends on your religion. Most Gods are all knowing so why would they fight.

You haven't read a lot of mythology, have you? Most pantheons are full of stories of strife between the gods. Zeus and Hera's ongoing marital spats, Athena spearing Ares, Loki arranging the murder of Baldur, Osiris' murder...
