My mom said my grandma would do that about 13 times straight almost every morning, and would never get a cold.
Now that I am older, and found out I had genetically inherited hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) probably from both parents, I wonder if grandma's sneezing wasn't a way her body was coping with low blood sugar. According to the reading I have done regarding hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), the brain, when it senses that blood sugar is low, will do sometimes strange things to get the blood sugar (glucose) out of storage and into the blood stream. Exercise is one way to do that, and sneezing rapidly and in succession is definitely exercising the lungs.

If you're sneezing this often your nose is trying to get rid of some irritant, whether you know it or not. Try to observe. Does this happen everywhere or just in specific places. If it happens everywhere it could be something in your clothing which is the irritant. If only in some places, then something in those places is causing it. If it only happens at certain times of year it may be caused by pollens, which are very fine and can't normaly be seen, unless in drifts.
