Is it possible to become allergic to dogs all of a sudden even if you weren't before?
If so then how?

Yes. You can develop an allergy to almost anything and never know it. It also could be that you have developed an allergy to something that is on the dog like fleas or dander, and not neccessarily the dog itself. It is pretty difficult to know when or how an allergy has developed. They sometimes are only sporadic and may go away with time. You can develop food allergies to food that you eat alot of and your body begins to reject it. Try bathing the dog really well and getting it flea treatments. Good luck. I'd cry if I developed an allergy to dogs. I love them!

It can be possible. If you do get a dog,get a Shih-Tzu as they have real hair . Most people buy them for that reason plus they are good dogs.

I suppose it is possible.. I have NEVER heard of such a thing with dogs.. with cats yes but never with dogs???

yes. if it happens, you can only pray that your dog bring home something that you are allegic to from the street.
