I had a licensed therapy cat. She had to be put on a sit and stay between 2 dogs while watching a parade. In the nursing home she had to sit and stay on command while wheel chairs went around her. Some almost crossed her tail.

This cat bonded to me very well. She would nurse on my hair after a day of entertaining children at the schools and library or being at a senior citizens home.

You have to start this training very early.

I have not seen it, but there are cat agility trials where they have to run up ramps, go between poles, etc.

My 8 year old cat just learned how to turn the door handle...scared the crap out of my friend and I the other day looked like there was a person in my spare bedroom turning the door handle...lol I almost thought it was a ghost LMAO thats how freaky it looked(they are lever type handles) the handle was going up and down...so I opened the door and my cat came out...she loves visitors and apparently it was enough to make her figure the door out at all costs! Also all 4 of my cats come when called by name, nickname, or here kitty kitty...lol and they can all open cupboards thanks to the 8year old who has know how to do that for years and taught them too.

The best trick my cat can do is make himself, his cat food and water bowl and litter box invisible...

because I don't have a cat.

(*sorry, I had to!*)
