Invisible ink is a substance used for writing, which is either invisible on application, or soon thereafter, and which later on can be made visible by some means. The use of invisible ink is a form of steganography, and has been used in espionage. Other uses may include property marking, hand stamping for readmission, and marking for the purpose of identification in manufacturing.

Do u want to prepare one kind of invisible ink yourself by means of domestic things.............just try this: write something on a plane paper using a matchstick and lemon-juice. Allow it to dry in Sun. After drying, it will be invisible. To recover what u had written, put the paper over candle flame (be cautious, the paper should not catch fire, it should only get sufficient heat). By the way, the marketing version of invisible ink is manufactured chemically.

If you would like to make some, its really easy. Onion juice. No, don't laugh it really works. If you can cope with the crying all you need to do is juice an onion. Use the juice to write with - if you haven't got a dipping pen, use a fine paint brush. You will be able to see the writing - until the juice dries. To make the writing re-appear, hold the paper over a lightbulb to gently warm the paper. The ink will appear as sepia colour. Be careful though,- it only works once and getting close to the lightbulb needs to be done carefully.

As children we often played this on adults(poor devils)....if I remember correctly we would get a lemon, squeeze it into a liquid and draw it into a pen,match-stick,whatever at hand and write important messages on paper....then very gently...place a lit match or candle under the paper..very carefully...the message will appear.
