wow yesterday was crazy..i have 4 dogs of my own, and im fostering 3 SPCA dogs...one of which was heavily pregnant when she was found abandoned in an empty house's backyard. her family (if you could call the B@stards that, moved and left her there), Bonnie is her name and yesterday she had 8 little ones!
she is a Golden Retriever..*absolutely purebred!*, the pups look like they might be half hound. (coon hound maybe or fox hound) there really sweet...golden cury hair and floppy ears. anyways...im at a LOSS as to what i should name them. they go in to the SPCA for thier check up on Monday and with all the other dogs running around needing processing it just makes it easier if i already have names, (or they give them numbers, and i HATE THAT!)
okay we have 6 boys, and 2 girls.
so...any ideas??

THIS IS NOT A KENNEL! these are SPCA pups, they are not MINE, they will not be sold for profit. they will be fixed, immunized and send to responisble adoptive homes!
i HATE KENNELS they mass produce animals for profit, NOT for the love of the breed or to improve the breed, they do not adhere to the breeders code of ethics, and in general are very shady ppl!
Kennels are the reason shelter ARE IN BUISNESS! 25% of shelter dogs are pruebreds!

having raised several litters I understand a suggestion names yes but while working on the names just tie colored yarn or something like that so you can see it as can anybody else and pick them up and control them (not by the yarn so you can tell the difference). The pups do not respond to names and this helps you HANDLE the situation. As to names I would not, cause the closer you get to them the harder it is to let them go.

Snow White and the seven Dwarfs, oh and the Queen of course.
Of Lovebug Kennels so it would be Lovebug Lord Sleepy and Lovebug Lady Snow White and Lovebug Lord Sneezy etc.

i saw your answer to the other question about the dog eating too much..you're definitly educated. well some names for the little ones...my dogs name is Bourbon, she's a rescue from hurricane katrina new orleans. so i have mostly weird ones but help yourself. jelly, mr. oh-no, pigpie, deogey (d-o-g), samson, delhila, reese`, i'm sure you'll get lots of answers.

Our local shelter uses the alphabet. Angel, Buddy, Candy, Dexter, Edgar, Fritz, Gordo and Harpo. Have fun with it and bless you for taking in those doggies.

One unique way to come up with names is to go through the shoes at a Target store. Every shoe has it's own name.

For the boys: Joey, Rascal, Mickey, Buddy, Ben and Harley and for the girls: Mandy and Gretchen. Hope these help you. Good luck with choosing names.

I have always liked the name Dolce (pronounced Dole-chae) for a pet. Yes, I know it's a designer's name, but isn't it nice? I think it is more of a cat name, but it could work for a dog.

I go through names of gods, or historical names, or names of natural phenomena....like storm, cloud, etc. I went with Storm for my new Brittany pup.
