Isaiah 40:26 Lift up your eyes on high and see: who created these? He who brings out their host by number, calling them all by name, by the greatness of his might, and because he is strong in power not one is missing.

I knew right were to find this passage since it's one of my favorites.

truthfully i do not know. I also tried looking it up but i couldnt find it. All i do know is that the wisemen followed the start to bethlehem i think it was the North Star? or is it called the Bethlehem star. I disagree with the guy that astronomy was non-existence. The egyptians have been studying the stars a long time before the bible. some of their gods are based of things they observed in the skies. that is also how they created the first ever calendar if i had not mistaken. Well..im just curious. do you happen to know the answer. you got me wondering.

Do you actually believe that the "Stars" mentioned in the bible are real stars? Everyone with half a brain would know that astronomy was non-existent when the Bible was written. MANY religious scholors agree that most (if not all) of the stars mentioned in the Bible are astrological signs.

Plus, if you remember that biblical "stars" can also be angels or comets, that doesn't leave much room for the existence of "missing stars".

But what do I know. I could wrong

It's a bit foolish to use the bible to answer an astronomy question.
