NO, the actions of our government are so very controversial that the draft would be a bad Idea. Those who want to serve and travel will continue to sign up.. but there are many more young people that have other goals in mind at age 18, 19.

my history teacher in 8th grade.....which he was the best i ever had so far..anyways he said when we (which was in 8th at the time) get into high school (which is now) or maybe little after it...
he still there will be a major WAR...i cant remember if he said there would probarly be one...or whatever..and he also said that there will probarly be a draft around when we get into high school or when we get out of high school. i didn't think he was right when i was in 8th grade at the time....but now im starting to believe him.....
but i dont know how he had the idea. though
but i think hes right.....now.....

Tell you what you would see allot of the petty crime on the streets clear up. During the last draft Judges gave convicted criminals a choice jail or the army.

We already have a draft, It's called the guard. One week end per month and money for school. The guard also serves the State.

Not a very good idea at this time. People in the States are not entirely happy with the Irak situation. Politically, it would be suicide.

yes if nothing else it would be a good way to train people for jobs after military service.also would give people some self discipline and self control.

But EVERY 18 year old should spend 2 years in service to their country...
It would be their choice where they serve...
MILITARY or COMMUNITY SERVICE/CONSTRUCTION!

Yes, it would be good for some of these young people to learn a little respect and discipline.
