Well, let's see there are 10 left, 7 live ones and 3 dead ones. My question is how the 3 drowned while the other 7 lived. There are several possible reasons and the first clue is the definition of drown from the dictionary: "To kill by submerging and suffocating in water" To suffocate them we need only displace the oxygen in the water by bubbling helium. Of course this will finally drown all of them but we made our observation after the first 3 suffocated (drowned). We could come up with many other possibilities for the 3 drowned fish, but I only need one explanation.
If I missed it I guess I'm a retard. I could possibility be the first retard to receive a PhD in the sciences from a Big Ten School.
My best advice is to learn to think outside the box. Me, I never got in the box.

although 5, 3 ineffective and a pair of alive.Am I acceptable......Fish can drown, technically, if the pond overheats then the oxygen factor interior the pond will drop, and under no circumstances sufficient oxygen will kill the fish, only like the way a guy or lady will drown below water... lack of oxygen, similar element. good Q.

Actually fish can drown if they don't move oxygenated water through their gills. But, dead or alive, there are still 10 fish.
