I sent my heart out in a letter to this guy that I am in love with who claims to be gay but then once my roommate asked him if he liked guys or girls and he said both. He knows that I have been attracted to him and I just finally got the balls to write him a letter explaining strong feelings I have for him. I know he had to have recieved it by now and I just hung out with him last night knowing he's seen this letter. We had the best time ( like usual ) When I went over there though, he mentioned NOTHING about the letter - what did I do here? Do you think I have him seriously thinking about being with me and that is why he's said nothing? I feel the ball is in his court at this point - I've done what I can. Someone help! I wouldn't have sent the letter if I didn't think there was a chance he was feeling the same way about me - if I knew I was dead wrong and felt no hope. What is he thinking!!?

my opinion is if i got a letter from a girl that i liked and she put her self on the table like that i would wounder why she don't do something about it or say something but if i didn't like her i would act like nothing happened so the i don't loose the friend you said he go both way i honestly don't believe that can work but what ever i think you should have your friend talk to him about you and see what he got to say because it might just be your not his type or he think he gay and don't want to use you to find out the truth
so that my answer have your friend talk to him about you and then you talk to him about it also

I feel that life is short and you should approach him and keep in mind that friendship is important and try not to hold hard feeling against him if he is not into it. The worst that could happen is he says no and you can build on a great friendship and you will find someone who feels for you. Good luck

In short the letter was ineffective. I would go and approach him and tell him what you said in the letter. It is always the best way.

I think he got the letter and wants to avoid hurting you. obviously he doesn't see you as a lover. That's okay!

You should ask him, not over the telephone though.
