I dated my boyfriend for two months and a half and I fell in love with him. However, he says that he is not in love and that he cannot know whether he'll fall in love.

He wanted to remain as we were: very good friends, and have sex at the same time. He told me that I am the only person he has in this country and that it would pain him to not see me. He also said that he doesn't want to be dating around and that he would be jealous if he saw me with someone else. He also mentioned that he feels very close to me when we make love and that kind of connection is hard to find.

I broke up because he's not in love with me. However, now I wonder if I did the right thing, given that it's a short time and that maybe he'll need more time to fall in love. What if I'm missing the best of my life?? Please, help... Thanks!

You did the right thing! I doubt you are, or will be missing anything with him! Unless you just want to be friends with benefits and want to be with someone that is controlling and is sleeping around! Good Luck....
