Horizon from Medford to Portland or Seattle and then Alaska Airlines onto Anchorage is going to be the most direct choice. All of that can be booked on www.alaskairlines.com , they are essentially the same company - same owner, same check-in counter, same baggage claim, etc. About $750.
United offers a bit lower fares (like $660) but you route through San Francisco or Phoenix.
Book early. Consider red-eyes. Fly Saturdays or midweek.

Try www.worldairservice.com, the website just started so you do not have special deals from airlines yet, but if you book flights there it will store your booking info and you can get great deals for future flights. The booking system is also quite fun, worth playing with give it a try, and the community will be up soon.
