I am not having any problems with them. But I can get them pulled for free while I am still in the military. I heard it costs $5000.00 to get them pulled by a civilian doctor.

If they are in and you are not having problems (like other teeth being pushed out of alignment) why would you want to have them pulled?

You can have a leg amputated for free while you are in the military too but I don't think I would do that just to save the money.

I would suggest yes. I literally just had mine done a few days ago, and the whole thing is relatively painless. You don't feel/are not aware of the actual surgery, and you are given pain medication for the few days after the operation. Besides, now that the stone age is over, why do we need wisdom teeth anymore? They'll just become impacted (pushing into other teeth) like mine, or someone elses.

So, my answer is, yes.

This is why you need to keep a job and get dental insurance. I've always heard not to pull them unless they are causing trouble, but if you think you're going to get cavities in them most dentists will not put a filling in a wisdom tooth. Personally, I still have mine. I haven't gotten any cavities in them yet, but if I did they'd be pulled. I have insurance and insurance makes dental care extremely affordable. I personally wouldn't want to go through all that pain if I felt I could take care of my teeth and they didn't cause me problems.

first it does not cost 5000. to get teeth pulled..The wisdom teeth are the 2 teeth that are the last ones in the top row...
Sometimes there isn't enough room for them and they crowd in and hurt your Jaw hinge...If that happens have them pulled... But if there is no problem don't worry..

If your wisdom teeth are fully in and you aren't having any problems, why would you want to have them pulled? If you still do, I can tell you I didn't pay $5,000 to have mine pulled. Make sure you get correct facts before undergoing this kind of procedure.

You should get them pulled because even if their not giving you problems. They will in the future and if you wait too long then they could push your other teeth and cause them to become crooked. Plus if you don't do it now you will have to pay money.

If your dentist says you have room (they are not putting pressure on your other teeth to cause mis-alignment/crooked teeth) in your mouth, then leave them alone.

However, if they are putting pressure, are out of align, or you have a small mouth, get them pulled while it is free.

There is no real correct answer here. Do what you are comfortable with.

If they are impacted and don't bother you , No, you do not need to get them out. If they are erupted, bothering you or not Yes, you should get them out. Wisdom teeth are hard to keep clean which could also effect the teeth in front of them.

Some people never have problems with their wisdom teeth, however they do have a tendency to get impacted and that hurts! I would talk to a dentist about it!
