I am looking for a link between the term bouncing betty and the number 69. Could it be the year 1969? Any one have any suggestions?

a bouncing Betty was a type of landmine used during the Vietnam era. when activated it sent (or bounced, a projectile approx. 3 feet in the air and detonated. it sent shrapnel in 360 degrees. i think the nomenclature of the device was a m-69 anti personal mine. but that is purely speculation. hope this gives you an idea of where to search.
