I just say SERENITY NOW!

I get the feeling of serenity when I accomplish something difficult, such as when I finish taking all my final exams for a semester at school, or when I complete a very difficult task. I also get a feeling of serenity when I resist a temptation and make better moral decisions.

Looking at the full moon on a cloudless night and feeling the energy of the Goddess surrounding me. Or standing in the warmth of the sun and feeling the energy of the God surrounding me. Though that's a little difficult since we've been having a week of 100+ degree days...

In joy, I can say that I studied spirituality for 21 years and it opened up vista after new vista to me throughout the journey. But at this point, I have come to know my Creator/Father. I have a deep relationship now with Jesus and the Holy Spirit. I literally watch Them at work throughout my day, every day, on my behalf!

But what gives me the greatest Serenity is having come to know that there is a deep order of things in this world - set up by the Father and upheld by Jesus and the Holy Spirit. In this deep order I have been shown - all appearances of chaos, pain, death, uncertainty have been blown. "Don't go by appearances." The Bible teaches that. But when you come to know the literal-ness of those words, Serenity engulfs you.

Most of the mysteries have been answered for me at this point. More will be answered for me in my continued journey. But what has now been answered is the greatest joy of my life. When Jesus said, "Be of good cheer" he meant it! In the world He lived in, good cheer was difficult. But, you see...he possessed good cheer anyway. What He knew - He has imparted to me. Now I know it too! The Journey, people, the Journey will give you serenity that can take you through anything.

Traditional religions speak of the "mystery" often. My experience of close relationship with Jesus and the Holy Spirit, as my partners in spiritual study, has proved to me They are anxious to remove the mysteries. They want us to know. They uncover for us much of the mysteries that our questions involve.
