My fiance broke things off with me about 2 weeks ago (although it's really been over for about 2 years).

I just started a new job at a local butcher's There's a girl I work with who is absloutely amazing. Perfect for me in every way except for two things: she's only 18 & I'm 28; and she's engaged. I learn today that she is extremely unhappy with him and isn't sure what to do.

So what do you think, should I go for it? And from what I can tell, yes, the attraction here is mutual.

Say something along the lines of asking her out, or how great you think she is...but then say, but the problem of the boyfriend. Tell her that if she was single, you think the two of you could really have something great. If she's truly unhappy, and really interested, you'll know. She'll end it. But be sure you don't come on too strong. Good luck, and don't cause her to cheat on her boyfriend, she'll respect you (and vice-versa) if you are both single, and date in the way you should. Good luck.

The two of you should sit down and have a serious talk about all of this; she should not even be engaged to a guy if she has any doubts about it; hope things work out for the both of you!

If you think she feels the same way and she really is unhappy then wait for her to approach you. She needs to end things with her man before you allow anything else to happen between the two of you.
