yes, i think so. i am always bored too. i say you better go do some crazy stuff. having good sex, going on trips to weird places, move to a big metropolis. roller coasters and bdsm. thrash shows. whatever you like. but don't become an alcoholic because you'll just end up more depressed. also you might wanna probably go to a therapist. maybe get drugs for it, but make sure the problem's really bad before taking pills.

Yes, boredom can be a sign of depression especially when you realize you're bored more than you're not bored. Depressed people who are bored usually find that nothing they do ever ends with a result satisfying enough to justify the effort.

Of course there is always the possibility that you're bored because your intelligence doesn't match your available resources needed to satisfy your boredom. Intelligent people often have a hard time finding things to entertain themselves - even the rich ones.

You might want to get it checked out though. Also, you can take a test on the Internet. Here's one of them - it's free, anonymous, not lengthy, and it returns results immediately (and it's something to do): http://www.depression-screening.org/screeningtest/screeningtest.htm

there is nothing wrong woth you . It depends on if you think you are depressed . Did anything happen that really hurt you inside ? Or maybe you have kept a secret in to long and your mind just hasn't really kicked in yet . Maybe you should get more into communittee or something .
The point is that , you just need to get a little more active , like you could go out for a walk with your friends , or even try to go swimming with your friends . You could sign up for an event , you could go to the big brothers , big sisters thing . ( that is if y'all have one .

i don't agree with the answers saying to go out and do something and the like, that's the folley of the uninformed. i have a.d.d. and get bored with things very quickly, but there is medication for that. chronic boredom can be a sign of depression, or a.d.d., or bipolar (there is a close chemical similarity between a.d.d. and bipolar). go see a doctor and see what he thinks. whatever the result, once your boredom issues are identified don't try to quell them by joining something like myspace, that's not engaging in life and can make matters worse.

you got to get away from the Internet, dealing with the Internuts can get very boring and depressing. gold is increasing in value, depending on where you are i would suggest getting a gold pan and picking up a new hobby. semi gem stones are good also. the cost is small to start looking, and you get out and are in the real world.
