The questions that they are going to ask are simple, but the answers that you give and the manor in which you present them are going to be the determining factor in wether or not you are hired. It is important to dress appropriately. So tennis shoes might not be a wise choice unless that is all you have. Long pants, a nice collard shirt (tucked in) a belt and dress shoes would be the best way to go. Be sure that you are shaven and your hair is brushed as well as fresh breath. So pack some gum, but be sure to throw it away before the interview.
Some of the questions the are going to ask are...
1. Do you have any past experience in the food service industry?
2. What was the last job you had and why did you leave?
(the employers are looking for negative aspects in which you were let go, or fired due to outside circumstances)
3. What is your education level?
4. How well do you work with others?
(your ability to communicate and agree and/or disagree with fellow workers with out resorting to violent tones or actions and keep up the integrity of the work place)
5. How well do you handle stressful situations?
(sometimes the work place can get hectic and your ability to avoid frustraion is a deffinate plus)
6. How well is your interaction with people?
(basically they would like to know how you deal with people on a constant basis I.E. if you are working the cash register. How would you deal with someone who is being annoying or pestering you, or changing their order 70 times. Are you going to get mad... or asses the situation and calmly deal with it to maintain the integrity of the work place)
7. Have you had any prior involvements concerning law enforcemet?
(DO NOT LIE! you give them your license and they will check you out. I am trying not to scare you but an employer will hire you with past occurances if you tell them. If you lie and they find out, you will NOT get the job)
If you maintain a positive attitude, speak clearly, and provide well thought out answers, you are on your way to getting the job. First impressions are the most important.

Hmm..not sure about the sneakers. It's just a fast-food resturant. But wear your best outfit. Nothing too casual.
And if it's a fast food place, you can predict what they'd ask:
Are you good with money
Do you get along well with others
Do you have problem solving skills
Can you work in a fast-paced environment
What is your definition of success
What do you think this job will teach you
And other pointless questions like that. Just give me the freakin' job I always think. But hey...lol! But you can look forward to questions like that. Remember, tell them what you think they want to hear, not what you think is the best anwser!
Annddddd smile during the whole interview! They love that. :P

At Burger King, some sample questions were --
"Why did you leave your last employment?"
"What did you think of the management there?"
"Would you quit your current job, or work both?"
Most of it will revolve around your availability -- I can assume that Burger King and New York Fries are probably pretty similiar.
Just be well-spoken, calm, and polite. It's a FAST FOOD job, so you probably won't mess it up, dear.
And yes, you may wear sneakers if they are not groady or disgustingly filthy. Make sure you tuck in your shirt (wear a nice one!) and that your pants are clean.
Thank the interviewer, shake his/her hand, and be the most courteous person in the room. =)

Every place is different when it comes to interviews, when I went for my interview at Mcdonalds they asked me basic questions like these: 1. Tell me about yourself...What do you like, what do you do? 2. What are your interests? 3. What teams or clubs have you been apart of? 4. Do you play any sports? Things like that. Some places also ask you personal questions such as "Are you parents divorced?" or "Is there anything that could keep you from being on time?" Just be calm and patient. Don't be scared to ask questions after, as the manager/owner will probably be thinking "Wow this person is really interested" =] have fun xx

Have you ever worked at a fast food restraunt? Do you have a criminal record. Some ask for drug testing.
I think sneakers if they are not outrages and are clean are fine.

what is your religion?, what is your hobbies? can you describe yourself? No you shouldn't wear sneakers because your first impression should always be your best impression, so if you wear sneakers to an interview you are a sloppy dresser and that can tell a lot about your way of doing things.(you have to be clean at all times)

They might ask what kind of experience you have had, plus what level of education you have completed. If I were you, I would wear some nice khakis, a nice shirt, and some flats. Good luck!
