Could you help me with my OpenOffice question?

That is a screencap of my problem. I would like to be actually able to read the font and know what I'm typing, as well as everything not being so far away.

Under the View menu there is a Zoom item. Choose that and pick 100%. The view you have is 50% and that's why it is hard to see.

You could go view>zoom then pick "page width" so you don't get a bottom scroll bar.

i would try to look for something that will maximize it like
put yours to 100%
