Yep, You're right.
Men are much more protective and uptight of their women. Simpley because they are selfish. Why do you think that they lie and say they want relationships and cheat? They want you NOT to cheat but still want their cake and eat it too. They don't want some one to come along and treat their woman they way they SHOULD BE. They fear change. They actually do fear the next man.

Sometimes what is considered protective is actually control and insecurity. My daughter couldn't make one move without her husband checking up on her and making her leave when she went with friends. This turned into physical abuse and emotional abuse. Some men are protective but some say they are and really aren't

I like knowing that my husband is protective over me as i am over him. It's a 2 way street and different situations bring out different reactions.

I don't know what you're referring to. But being over-protective tends to be a characteristic of certain personalities, not sex. So some men are, and some women are (whether it's related to their kids, each other, or something else...)

Dads are over protective of daughters while mothers are over
protective over sons.

Not im my marriage!!!! Not ever in my life... I wear the pants around my house....But the only time I let him be over protective is in the bedroom....yea its for his ego!!!!!
