i was wondering what it meant,
okay, it started with me playing around on the computer..(on Y! answers) and my mom all the sudden gets a phone call, and she was told that her grandfather had died...(he died in 1999) so we went to the funeral, shed tears etc. Went home.... and for some reason, everything went back to normal... And it started again, only this time I found out that my mom's father died,(my grandpa) then I woke up... can anyone explain what this means?

Dreaming someone's death bascially means you do no want to have departure from your love ones.

Death = departure
Funeral = place for the dead

You probably are a well dependent person. You need someone more than someone needs you. You may have this sense of insecurity, so you projected all those people leaving you. Dreaming of departure is not a good feeling, but that shows how insecure you are

Everyone is afraid of their loved ones dying. I used to have nightmares about my grandmother dying when I was a teenager but she lived to be 94. And she wore the same dress a lot which explains why she was wearing that dress on the caskett too. Older people don't like new clothes.

It was just thoughts going through your mind your consciousness! What you would be thinking if you are awake except it may seem a little odd because you are not aware (unconscious) Of your thoughts because your body and brain are at rest! So you were on this site a lot and maybe there was a question about death and then you were also thinking about your family.

Wow. They didn't have Yahoo Answers in 1999, so it's not like history repeating itself, right? Even so, I would tell everybody you know and see what they think. Asking on Yahoo Answers can be helpful, but real life conversations are better by a kajillion one willion two.

please don't worry , this don't mean anything bad is going to happen to your grandad
usually a death in a dream is symbolic of something coming to an end , a relationship perhaps but this would be something that you know about as generally dreams aren't predictive and is more about things on your mind
to see someone in a coffin is about coming to terms and letting go of the past before moving onto a new phase of life
hope this helps xx
