Not necessarily.
If you truly want him to come back write him a letter and pour your heart and soul into it and give it to him. It will give him a constant reminder of how much you care and more than likely you will get him to come back to you.
If you call him and hang up, then that is kinda childish and I doubt he will want to talk to you after that.

Good luck. It doesn't always pay confessing such stuff to men. They get really intimidated, believe me. Hopefully for you, it will work out good. It's not so positive for me but that's alright..I still love and I have that to hold close to me anyway.....

why say goodbye. if you feel its right for you to tell him you love him thats ok. if he feels he is not ready thats ok too. as long as yr both honest thats what counts
