If your natural color is very dark I'd go to a pro so you don't end up with that orange tint. If your skin has golden tones try a honey blond shade. If your skin has rosy or pink tones anything from ash blond to the lighter platinum shades.

I am a bleach blonde. My hair is suffering. Stick to something less harsh like a honey blonde. Golden blondes tend to get brassy and light blondes are too hard to maintain without frying your hair. Maybe even just lighten a little and get lots of blonde highlights.
Whatever you decide, please go to a professional!!!!!

There are so many different shades, you really have to look at your skin tone and match it with one that will complement your tone and not clash with it.
