I just did this the other night lol... I boiled them for too long and they tore all up when I tried peeling them. So... don't overcook them and completely cool them down before attempting to peel.

Yes, I believe I can. Through trial and error I have found that the sooner you attempt to peel an egg the harder it is to get them to peel smoothly. Next time your wife boils eggs put them under cool water for 20 minutes or so, in a bowl (You Might have to change the water to keep it cool) then i think you will be getting your Klondike Bar

First, you must use fresh eggs. Then I boil them two minutes and cover them and let them sit in the boiling water 15 minutes. Drain and let sit in cold water. I let them get cold in the fridge before peeling. Tap both ends to crack the shell, roll them on the counter, and they should be easy to peel, starting at the large end.

Your wife is probably using very fresh eggs. Ones that have been in the fridge for a few days prior to boiling are a whole lot easier to peel.

Start with cold water in your pan and add some salt , put eggs in and bring to a boil. Boil 10 min take pan to sink run cold water into pan and start peeling before they get too cold. Works great! Good Luck!

Letting the eggs sit in cold water after they have been cooked helps. Leave them in a bowl of cold water for about 10 min. and then peel. You should see a difference.

This method is totally foolproof. When the eggs are done cooking set them in the sink and let cold water run over them until they've begun to cool down. Pour off the water. Put the lid back on the pan. Get a good grip on the handle and on top of the lid. Then....Shake that baby vigorously back and forth. Make the first shake a good one. You want to smack the eggs against he opposite side of the pan on the first shake. Smack them back and forth three or four times. The shells will slide off in your fingers.

IF THESE ARE FRESH EGGS, LIKE FROM YOUR HENS, YOU NEED TO LET THEM AGE A BIT......VERY FRESH EGGS ARE HORRIBLE TO PEEL....AS FOR EASY PEELING OF EGG, GENTLE (of coarse) CRACK IT ON TABLE AND ROLL AROUND TILL ALL THE SHELL IS CRACKED UP, LOOK FOR THE END THAT HAS A AIR POCKET (or bubble like spot) AND OPEN THERE, MAKE SURE YOU GET THE SKIN UNDER THE SHELL, THEN IT SHOULD PEEL EASY, UNLESS YOU ARE USING FRESH EGGS. I KEEP THE EGGS I INTEND TO BOIL IN A SEPARETE PLACE IN FRIDGE, AS WE KEEP HENS.

After you are done boiling them, soak them in cold water. Wait about 5 minutes, then peel them.
