If the break up was no ones fault, then why not get back together? I guess if it were that simple, you wouldn't have asked the question.
It is really hard to get over someone you truly love. There really is no right or wrong answer to this question. I guess it all depends on you. If you want to get over this person, then it can be done. It will take some time, and a lot of tears, especially if this person lives/lived in your hometown.
The best advice I can give on how to get over someone is to avoid common places at first, and then when you feel like you're ready, and confident enough, get back into your old routine and old hang outs. Of course there may be a few morons who ask about the ex, but how you answer that is up to you.
GOOD LUCK!

It takes a minute to have a crush on someone, an hour to like someone, and a day to love someone -- but it takes a lifetime to forget someone.
You dont really forget someone you truly loved, you just learn to live without them, as hard as it seems.

By all means, go on with your life. Each man that comes into your life will bring you something different. Never let go of what you had, that's your to remember even after you've had grand kids. Take what they give and give what you can until there are no downs, Then grab that guy and hang on tight

Just get over the person. If he/she really loves you, they'll try to get back together with you. But try to forget about the person. Hang out with your friends, meet new people.

If you love this person you will let go, and if this person loves you he/she will come back. Love is not pain free. Kahlil Gibran wrote: "Even as love crowns you so he shall crucify you. Even as he is for your growth, so he is for your pruning."
