The customer or the waiter?
If I was the waiter I would sincerely apologize and offer to have him take it to a dry cleaners and bring the bill in. The house will pick it up almost always.
Now if I was the customer... well I'd take the suit to the most expensive dry cleaners in town (Al Phillips sounds good to me, it's like $4.00 a shirt) and then bring the bill. Woo hoo, a nicely dry cleaned and pressed suit.

Apologize to the customer and get some club soda. Inform the customer that if it is applied immediately to the soiled area, let sit for a minute and then blotted with a cloth it will lessen the severity of the stain in the clothe. When the customer gets home they should follow up with a solution of white vinegar and water to completely remove the stain.

Offer to dry off the shirt and perhaps wash it or get the customer a new shirt. Give the customer a new drink for free if it was their drink.

The waiter should offer to pay for the dry cleaning, or the meal is free.

how should who deal with it??? If I was the waiter I'd apologize and offer to pay to have the suit dry cleaned professionally. If i was the person who got the drink spillled on them I'd probably punch them if they didnt apologize and immediately offer to have my suit cleaned!!!!!
