When someone applies for residency, they have entered a LEGAL process. If they're rejected, there are some legal recourses, fair hearings and reviews. This is because they have a LEGAL status of PENDING!
Illegals do not have any legal status. They have no RIGHTS or standing that can be brought up in court.
The courts have held that no one can assert protections for another person.
This means that neither YOU nor the ACLU can file on your behalf and assert rights for you! And surely they cannot asserts non-existant rights!
If someone is under an order of deportation or was once legal and now are not, thiese people may have VERY limited rights within our due process.
Those that jumped the border and NEVR were legal, do NOT have any legal rights to claim due process.
there is no need and in fact nothing to be filed in any court in the land.
They can be caught and deported wihtout as much as a miranda warning!
So why the worries about the ACLU?
