Congratulations on the 30 pounds - no matter what you weigh now or weighed before, it's an achievement. As to your question...
1) Try and figure out what the things are that are your triggers. Is it watching food shows, shopping for food, hanging out with friends in restaurants, or something more psychological, like stress, depression, etc.
2) I am sure you're exercising, but when you get a hunger pain, get away from the fridge, pantry, etc., and don't drive to another source (McD's, B.K., etc.), but take a walk, or something like that.

Here is what you need to do, if you are serious about losing weight and keeping it off. Eat 6 small meals a day about every 4 hours. Here what that will do for you, your metabolism will increase (i.e. Loose weight) and you will have more engry. If you go on a diet and eat less, your metabolism will slow down and store to fat. That is why diets dont work. Only the size of your fist, carbs (examples:baked potato, pasta, oatmeal, beans, corn, melon, apples, fat free yogurt, whole wheat breads)in one and protien (examples:chicken breast, swordfish, shrimp, turkey breast) in the other. You can also eat vegetables and salads with any meal, they dont have none or little fat). 30min cardo exercise every day. Any of these(examples: walking, jogging, swimming,running, biking, ect), Monday cardo, tues upper body (arms: curls, tricep extensions,pull ups, front press)(abdominals: leg pull crunch, leg raises), (chest: bench press, butterfly, pullover)(shoulders: front press, arm pullover, cross county skier machine)(back:seated row, lat pull downs, back extension)(YOU DONT HAVE TO DO IN ONE DAY, mix it up) wed cardo, thurs lower body (legs: leg pull,leg press, squats, lounges) fri cardo, sat upper. Sunday eat anything you want and dont exercising, you do this on sunday so your body doesnt go into starvation mode. YOU NEED TO TAKE SUNDAY OFF. If you stilck with this you will have a great body. also drink aleast 8oz of water daily! Stay away from Mcdonals, Wendys, ect because there is nothing good for you on the menu's even the salads are bad (beaon bits, cheeze, dressing, ect) Good Luck :)

hey hun....if your really hungry then your body may be tryin to tell you that your not eatin' enough through out tha day...i have lost 40lbs and i have to eat every 3hours....that helps me to keep from thankin' about food so much and it helps to keep me from over eatin' at my next meal....its really easy to eat several times a day like that if you eat fresh or frozen veggies just pile em' on a plate with some lean protein like turkey or tuna and your good ta go....and if you have a raging' sweet tooth like i do then there are all kinds of sweet protein bars that do just the trick ta put that sucker right back ta sleep...so you can have your sweet and still get all the vitamins your body needs with out all the sugar that it doesnt....love daisy

when you feel like eating u should take a nice warm shower or u can grap a nice cold glass of water.

I ask myself.."am i hungry or just want to eat??" if i answer to just eat...then i remind myself that if i eat that then i have to exercise double to burn it off..is it worth it??

try vometing I know it sounds gross but you wont' feel like eating anytihng after that especially if you do it while looking at food.
