Wait at least a year to grieve, and mourn. You will hurt after that, but the pain will not be as serious. I went out with a younger widow a while back, and her husband had been dead for a little over a year. All night long, she felt like she was cheating on him, even after that period of time had passed. She felt like he was watching her every move. Wait until you're READY!

I was a young widow with two kids. I started dating at the 6 month mark. I don't think it was long enough, because I just wasn't ready. If you are ready to get back out there, Go For It. Just do it for the right reasons...it's easy to get taken advantage of when you lost a husband. Good luck sweetie. Hope it goes well and you find happiness.
