The problem is in their commandments. Allah talked to Mohammed in a cave (!) that he had been going to for like 30 years (!). He gave him seven commandments.
The first is I am Allah. You must follow these commandments.
Then, it is like you have to kill infidels.
Then tax Jews.
The last commandment is that the average person must never question these commandments. Only "certain" people (Imams...) have the right to even try to understand these commandments.
If you question these commandments, you are an infidel.
Sounds like not so much brainwashing as it is fear of death hanging over their lives 24/7.

No. We haven't been brainwashed. Just whoever listens 2 and believes political press conferences and the rest of wut the media says about us. Bush said there were WMD's in Iraq. We've been there for 2 years. We've "established democracy and freedom from oppression", but we haven't found our excuse(s) for being there.
We blame Lebanon and worship Israel because "Hezbollah must be destroyed, and Israel has every right to attack HEZBOLLAH ONLY's infrastructure, but they have to let the civilians go and evacuate" So far, all they've got are more than 2 times the amount of citizens that were killed in Israel by Hezbollah, an airport here and there, 'just a few' highway overpasses and bridges, 'not many' gas stations, and only 2 or 3 of Hezbollah's people. How are the Lebanese supposed to evacuate within 2 days? do u want 2 tell me that before you say we are all brainwashed?

apparently.
If you hear the news, they always say that muslims condemns such acts of violence and it is always the minority that are causing these havocs. However, you never see Muslims protest against terrorism. They are always protesting against the west and our values and rights we possess. Even tho it may be that a minority of muslims are committing these acts, it isn't a minority of muslims that support in what these terrorists are trying to do. Muslims support other muslims, regardless of what. I don't think you can call it brainwashing per se, but it is the mentality that cultivates from Islam.
I'm sure a lot of people will call you a jerk, or ****** for asking this question, but get used to it, no one wants to face the truth about their own religion.

brainwashed? no hun, we are not.
Islam is clear like the Sun appears. what's more true than there is only one universal God, He is not three, He is not Jesus, He did not begot, neither he has begotten, nothing like Him or comparable to Him. He is Allah.
Abraham had two sons. Issac and Ishmeal. Issac came with the jewish, and Ishmeal came with the arabs. God has favors the Jewish alot, and gave them alot of warning and prophets, but they still astray. then God went to the other son, Ishmeal. it's all connected.
