Because they're not comfortable or use to it. You have to get them use to the idea of wearing cloths just like with babies/little kids.

They're just not used to it. If they were brought up with clothes like people are, they'd probably feel weird if they didn't wear clothes. You just have to get them to like the idea. Try presenting the clothes to them, then progress to putting them onto him/her more and more. Like start with just a scarf or bandana or something like that. Them move onto loose fitting T-shirts, etc. All the while, giving them lots of treats. Then they'll associate clothes with good things. After a while, they won't mind the clothes anymore. My dog likes wearing clothes, both "every-day" attire and costumes. He's never had a problem with them. Just make sure if you put something made of thick material on them that they don't get too hot. If they start panting heavily, take it off of them. I suggest that you just stick to light/thin loose-fitting clothes. You can move on to tighter-fitting clothes later on if you want though.
And for all of those saying it's embarrassing, dogs are not stupid enough to think that they have to conform to what society think at that moment in time. Only people think they have to fit in with everyone else. Dogs aren't afraid to just be themselves and have fun. I mean like the constantly contradicting trends and stuff like that, some things in society are reasonable and even appreciated.

Well then don't put clothes on them unless they need it or like it.
My dogs are hairless or have very little hair and they like (and need) their clothes in the winter.
I used to have one that would get so EXCITED when I would take out the clothes tub, she would run around and leap in the air. She had quite the assortment of tees, sweaters, and coats. She would play with the other dogs and they would bite on her and all was fine until they would grab her sweater and then she would get SO MAD! She did NOT like her clothes being messed with. I have never seen a dog love clothes like her, she was so proud when she had them on.

Dogs do not have sweat glands like people so they can't cool down like people can. The dog has a coat of hair that if you put clothing on they will get hot and be very uncomfortable.

they're just not used to it. we humans don't panic when we have clothes around us because we've been doing it since we were young, and have society to reinforce the idea that clothes should be worn and are not constricting devices (as dogs probably assume). if you dressed a dog up from when it was a puppy, it would probably be uncomfortable about *not* having clothes on......

that's continuously slightly complicated. It relies upon on the breed of canine, and his previous reports with baths. One undesirable adventure will stay with him for an extremely long term if not continuously. First, confirm you don't get cleansing soap in his eyes, and not in any respect spray water at as quickly as into his eye. I commonly first get my canine in the tub bath earlier even working water. Then slowly I turn on the water and get it to the ideal temperature. heat is nice till it particularly is warm exterior. yet once you do have it heat, it would be less warm than what you will possibly use. I consult from mine like they are people, so as that they sense like it fairly is a classic frequent accordance. No loud talk or scolding. additionally, continuously have the bathe curtain accessible to close so as that as quickly as they start to shake, you don't get soaked. this might desire to be a good journey, not a punishment. additionally, if conceivable get the canine shampoo that groomers use. It runs sort of severe, approximately $10, yet nicely worth it in case you may as a results of fact it would not harm their eyes and is made to situation the coat. I truthfully have 2 canines. One is older and she or he loves her baths. each and every so often I supply her what I call a "Spa bath". it fairly is heat water and Epson salt. She unquestionably loves this. she will have the skill to objective and slump down into the water. Epson salt helps sooth aching joints. If I tell her i visit grant her a Spa bath, she will have the skill to pass leap in the tub. No kidding. the different one hates baths. i don't comprehend why, it would have been earlier me, yet all I might desire to do is say it fairly is bath time and she or he hides. i'm working together with her, she continues to be a domestic dog. She tolerates it real now, yet she used to combat me. despite if it fairly is a relentless conflict and you stay on the dropping end, i might propose as quickly as a month taking her to a groomer. It should not be too lots in case you in simple terms ask for a shower in elementary terms, and might save you a good sort of aggravation and much less rigidity for the canine.
