provigil should come in a generic form...have you just tried asking your pharmacist for modafinil (the generic name of provigil)?
talk to your pharmacist - ask if provigil is available generic (i think it is) or ask him/her for an alternative medication suggestion you can take to your doctor, and get a prescription for.

Ask the pharmacist to call the doctor for a cheaper substitute. Or contact the manufacturer of the med and see if they have an assistance program.

I also wish no time-honored practitioner or nurse, everyone interior the clinical feild is attempting to discourage people from taking their finished remedy. that ought to reason the affected human being even larger complications in the experience that they offer up their meds.

You can ask your pharmacists if they have a generic of it or you can call your doctor and explain the situation and usually they can prescribe you something similar.
