I have two pit bulls and they rarely ever excrete or urinate in the House unless ill. Follow this method and you will have no problem. You will need three things, 1. communication, 2.Dog treats, and 3 housebreaking aid droplets(purchase at a pet store). When you walk your dog pick a spot that you will take it to everyday.Drop a few drops of the house breaking aid on the spot (once a week) walk the dog to the same spot every day the dog should urinate or defecate in this spot as you tell the dog this is what you want it to do. when the dog does that reward with a treat every time. This is guaranteed to work.

I know it's frustrating and infuriating but consistency is the key. He is just a puppy. It takes some more time than others, especially if several different methods have been used. You need to do the same thing for a very long time. Puppies aren't like cats who can train almost instantly to a box, they need a lot more patience and kindness. Try the pads that you can get at PETSMART or other retail stores, then give the pup a treat when he does it right!!! 8-10 weeks is barely away from momma. Good luck.

there are tons of really great resources online and at your local library... but the main thing to remember is consistency - once you decide on a course of action, make sure you try and keep it the same each time. he may be confused...
keep in mind that the dog is just a baby - 8-10 weeks old is very young still! it may be months before your dog is reliably house trained.
rewards and praise are always the best training method, you don't want to frighten your little buddy with scolding and loud noises - puppies are highly impressionable.
be patient, be consistent and take the dog outside frequently (after eating, before bed, after napping, after playtime...every half an hour if that's what it takes!).
remember he's a very little baby!

best thing I ever learned and the hardest part of having a puppy- was the CRATE training. Basic rundown: Place your pup in the crate and reward him/her keep them in the crate for up to an hour bring outside and walk around for 5-10 minutes if they go- reward crazily, and let them stay out of the crate for a half hour, then bring back outside, repeat If they don't go--- put back into crate and do not give them attention until its time to go outside again. I have had a ton experience and great results with this method. One more thing-- do not put anything in the crate with them: no toys, no bedding. the golden rule is that they will not go where they lay down, so if they are forced to lay in one spot, they wont go there. If you are consistent with this, I'm sure you'll prevail

Keep doing what you're doing..give the poor thing a break he's only a baby.Housebreaking takes time and patience..you can't expect it to be done overnight.Be consistent and make sure everyone in your household is training him the same way so you don't confuse the poor little guy.

You put the puppies face down to where he peed and hold his face there. Tell the dog it's bad and it's not allowed. I know it sounds harsh but I did that with my dogs.

its no ones fault just keep working with him it takes time and remember he will get it don't give up or beat him they really don't know and rubbing his noise in it doesn't really work its like doing that to a baby they don't understand it just hurts there feels and confuses them.He will learn time and patients.

keep him outside until he pees... tell him to go potty. he will have to do it eventually. as SOON as he pees, praise him, pet him, give him a treat and say "good potty!!!" do this EVERY time. dont let him inside until he does it!! eventually he will be trained to go on your command. our dog goes when we tell her to "hurry"
