Those are my exact stats, but since I am not twelve, I don't know if that is a bad thing. I would ask the doctor to check out his Body Mass Index, to determine his total body fat percentage. Everyone carries weight differently, and he might just have "baby fat." You should try to get him into sports, like soccer, basketball. I remember I was chubby at that age, but after running track for 3 weeks, I slimmed down a lot. Maybe you or someone in the family could learn and play the sport with him. Or you could enroll him in a class in karate or kickboxing. That way, he could possibly meet some new friends and get a workout and boost in confidence.

Sounds a bit heavy for a 12 yr old. I'm 5'6 155 but I'm over 40 yrs old.
According to site below, he should be around 131 lbs.
Throw his but outside and get him some excercise.

Ya i think you need to put him in a sport, i am 15 5'9 and he weighs like 15 lbs more than me. And take away the computer that will help! My cousin has that problem, but he is not chubby, he is just addicted to video games, but after about a week of being off them he has gotten more interested in ourdoor activites. Put him in a kids summer camp.

Every child needs excersize, even if it is to walk around the block. As the parent, you can encourage this, and even demand it if it needs to be done.
According to Cigna's website, he's about average, though with that lifestyle, he may not remain that way long. AND if you are already concerned about sprouting waistline, you may want to consult a doctor or nutritionist.

That's not a bad weight at all for that height. However, he probably won't stay a good weight with that lifestyle, especially after his growth spurts are done.
