Just give her some privacy, and she will get over it. Sometimes, even parents and adults get tired of being around the people they live with. Brothers and sisters really need to remember to give each other some space once in awhile. When she comes back around, ask her if she REALLY hates you, and she will probably tell you no. Hopefully she will say she is sorry.

But maybe you can think about what you did to upset her. Does she have a very good reason for feeling angry at you? Then don't do that any more. TRY not to upset anybody. Sometimes it isn't enough to say you didn't "mean" to do something.... you really have to want to do better and change your own behavior.

First if anyone ever says anything hateful to you respond by laughing heartily---i've never tried it but the reaction they are expecting from telling you i hate you is definatly not a laugh. Then after you laugh say No matter how much you hate me I love you anyway and if the door has been slammed in your face she still is listening, trust me i've slammed many a door before.

Say, I love you!

Bedroom door slammed, locked.
Good! Now I know you are safe - tell her.
Kill 'em with kindness, always!

The more you show that things (words ) are getting to you, the more often she will act like this. ALL Behavior is learned. If she learns HOW to upset you, then this will become the norm.... Understand rubber band?

Brothers and sisters get on each others nerves a lot.
When she slams the door and says she hates you just walk away and try not to let it affect you.
I don't think she is saying she really hates you - perhaps what she really means is "Leave me alone for awhile"

Tell her that you are sorry she feels that way because you love her very much. When she slams the door, give her the space she needs until she is ready to talk to you again.

tell her "I'm sorry you feel that way, but I love you very much". as for slamming the bedroom door, don't force your way in, give her a a few mintues to calm down and then try to enter the bedroom.

good luck

You say, well your my sister and I love you even when we argue.See how bad she feels then. This is so common with sisters,I have two girls and when they were teenagers they were the worst,I used to cry as I thought they would all ways hate each other, mind you if someone started on the young one when they were at school, the older one was right in there. So don't worry, she doesn't hate you, those words have been said so often they have no meaning now, accept to hurt you,and YES it worked, don't let it get to you OK.good luck sweetie and take care...

Tell her you love her even more than that and take the bedroom door away until she learns not to use it as a tool to hurt you

Its life. I got 5 sisters and try living with 4 of them. I hated it. We always argued if it wasnt one of us it was always the other one. Dont take it to personal. I said I hated my sisters many times. But Now that i moved out of the house iss them like crazy. Its a stage in life I think every sister or brothers go through it. It will pass jsut wait till she calms down eventually she will say sorry or you guys will work things out. Me and my sisters or brothers never said sorry we would just start talking out of no where and start laughing.

She's having an emotional crisis. She loves you, just give her time and space. Why don't you write her a letter or draw a picture telling her how much you love her and tape it to her door?

This is something kids go through when they're growing up. She'll be your best friend when you and she are adults.
