There seems to be a double standard at work. Atheists are constantly calling Christians on the carpet about the behavior of other Christians, but Christians are not allowed to do the same thing to Atheists. What's up with that?

well, the most satanic thing an atheist ever done would be trying to evolve their physical form bcz they know there is no spiritual form, so they enjoy life without going to church or praying.
If you are curious, the most satanic thing a christian (and many many more) ever did was the Crusades

Well, the worst thing is probably Communism.
But blaming that on Atheism, or claiming it is satanic is kinda a stretch. The atheism part is less of a stretch.

Is this a serious question? I hope not, since Atheists are not Satanists and continuing to imply that they are don't make it so.
And why do you make it a point to post questions that adamantly express your concerns about others' misunderstanding your religion (Catholicism) and then make these sorts of erroneous claims (or more like condemnations) about Atheism?

Atheists don't believe in Satan. You are confusing pagan beliefs and the contorted mysticism of some unaffiliated with not believing in a spiritual realm.

It was based on the writing of Marx who thought life would be grand without religion! however, it was just totalitarianism.
Why? because Atheism has no reason to be moral. No God = No moral responsibility.
You can say you are a moral atheist, but that is because you live in a place with God founded moral laws!

Nothing has ever been done in the name of atheism.
Plenty of bad sh*t has been done in the name of religion though.
Edit:
Communism has nothing to do with atheism. To exert power and not have any competition some communist states have oppressed religion (and all other authority), but that itself was not done in the name of atheism.
