Just received a lump sum of money and need help deciding what car to buy out of 4 choices.
Dodge SRT-10: very expensive up front, bad gas mileage but great truck 500 hp.
Ford SVT Lightning: Cheaper to own up front, can work on to equal the dodge truck, very little difference in gas mileage, cheaper to own but not as nice as dodge.
Subaru WRX STI: cheaper gas by a little, not as usable as a truck, more expensive insurance, 4 wheel drive
Honda civic SI: cheapest up front and can use the saved money to work on car and equal subaru but not 4 wheel drive, cheapest gas mileage and insurance. Not as good as others in long run.

civic doesn't even belong on the list. its an econo box. If i had a lump sum of money honda civic is not the first car that would pop into my head. Get a Ford Lightning. Don't get the 99' to 02' they have problems with the heads. my friend has an 03' and they are awesome trucks with a good aftermarket. there isnt much for the SRT-10 and its useless as a truck. with an aftermarket pulley, chip, bassani exhaust you can easily get 430hp out of it

Dude the Ford F-150 Lightning the best your dollar can buy , dodge never made a good truck, its nice at first but very unreliable it will be the the shop more than you garage, but the Ford its not for every one its a go getter
and pricy as well but its all what you want, econo or performance, good luck hope you find something you like

Dude, get the STi. Seriously. Its the most powerful production 4 cylinder in the US and its bad-***. Very tuneable and could take a lightning in a drag race any day of the week. The civic looks nice, but its still a honda.

Get a trailer hitch and a small trailer to make up for the lack of space because you did not buy a truck!
