Don't know if he's overweight, but the lifestyle suggest it. Here's what he should do:

Drink lots of water, walk an hour every day except 1 then do stretching and upper body toning.

No sugar
No sodas
No candy
No potatoes
No pasta
No pizza
no corn
no bread

Good Luck

That doesn't sound overweight, but you may want to encourage him to change his lifestyle a little so he doesn't become overweight later on.

Teens need a lot more calories than adults because they're still growing, so don't worry too much about his food intake. Just make sure he's eating the right foods: low-fat dairy, fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean meats.... Encourage him to drink milk or water instead of soft drinks and to eat sweet fruits (like pineapple, watermelon, and/ or mango) instead of high-fat snack foods.

Do worry about his activity level. He's a growing boy and needs physical activity to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Try to get him interested in a team sport, or a one-person sport like biking or running. Limit his TV time, including the games, to an hour a day and tell him to go outside with friends.

Are you active? Unplug the TV and everything else. Force him to go for walks with you, put him on a ball team, don't buy any junk not even for yourself, and tell him that if he does all those things, he'll be rewarded with 1 hour of TV or PC on weeknights, and 3 hours on the weekends. Lead by example.

That's 10st 5lb and his BMI is 25 which is regarded as healthy for an adult the same height and weight, but a few pounds more and he's out of his healthy BMI and on the road to been overweight, I feel sorry for kids today as all this technology is so in their face all the time and they feel discluded if they haven't got all the latest gadgets themselves, try encouraging him to get out and about and walking a bit, if your not too busy suggest you go out together for a walk or bike ride on weekends, your both bound to get something out of it and feel better and closer for it, your a good person for caring so much about him so encourage him.

he sounds a little overweight... but I would not worry about that as much as I would his general lack of physical activity... overweight people can still be in shape simply because they run, lift weights, etc... but if pretty much all he does is sit... I would worry about his body fat %
