Should I turn her in or just leave it alone?

We live in a apartment building. There are 4 neighbors, she is my neighbor on my floor. She was keeping the pup in her house and 2 weeks later she would leave it outside, and the poor thing would bark and hound all night until she would bring it in...That is the part that bothers me, I have to get up and work the next day...The poor thing barks and hounds until about 1 in the morning, then she brings him in. (?)

I would turn them in on the basis that she kept it outside for it to bark!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*** If you had not mentioned that it was barking until 1 in the morning, then I would have said to leave it alone.
BUT (Major BUT...)
since it was barking at all hours of the night, I am sure that she has done this a few times. Did it happen a few times?Which would be kinda stupid to put her puppy outside where an employee or management is likely to see it...!
ANYWAYS - Try to not say anything for another week, and if she continues to put it outside-and ONLY if it bothers you at all hours of the night, THEN turn her and her pooch in. She could be fined. BTW- if you tell management about it, let them know that you are 'Anonymous'.

Just leave it alone.

With all due respect, what does it matter to you? If the dog isn't bothering you or causing problems throughout the neighborhood, leave your neighbor only. Besides, are you sure she's not just watching it for awhile while family or a friend is out of town? Maybe she found it and brought it home until she could find it a permanent home?

Eventually the landlord will figure it out and your neighbor will have more issues to take care of.

Personally I am a major dog person and well id say make sure its not a disability dog and if its not thats a problem, and if you are looseing sleep over it then you should take the matter to the landlord there are some rules that are not meant to be broken. If she wanted a dog then she should of lived in a place that allowed it. And its wrong of her to put it on a porch. Its called walk the dog not stick it outside till 1 am when people need to sleep.

if the animal is bothering you maybe you should confront your neighbor about it and ask them to keep it inside at night where it wont bark... dont worry, if the dog is being a nuisance then the landlord WILL find out. usually, having an "illegal" pet is grounds for eviction.

I would leave it alone...she might be trying to find a place for it etc. - and if you "tell" on her, she might not have time to place the puppy - and then it will end up at the shelter - not to mention she will be pis*ed at you - and you have to live next to her.

Maybe you could ask her if she needs help finding a new home for the puppy...

Unless it becomes a nuisance I'd say keep it to yourself. Maybe shes just watching it for a few days for a friend. If it becomes bothersome I'd say let her know and give her a chance to get rid of it and then go to the landlord or property management. Otherwise.. just let it go!

It might be a support dog, which the landlord has to legally allow. Maybe you could ask her. If it isn't bothering you, I'd say leave it alone.

Leave her alone. Why would you want to cause trouble. The landlord will find out about the puppy soon enough.

Go to her and tell her that the barking is keeping you up at night and ask her to bring it in earlier! don't make it about the fact that you not suppose to have pets... its the barking.

If they were selling drugs or trying to murder someone, I would turn them in. In this case, I would be over asking if I could play with the puppy.
