Oh, here we go......

Israel is not in breach of law. They have the right of self defense. Israel was attacked by terrorists & had two soliders kidnapped. In the same way the USA responded to a simular event in 1916. Pancho Vila crossed the New Mexico border and shot up Columbus,NM. In response, Gen. Pershing led a Army into Mexico to pursue & disable the bandits. Israel is doing the same thing! The infrastructure is critical to stoping the enemy. Transport, airports, bridges to resuply from Syria are all very legit military targets. The terrorists choose to use civilian areas as cover. As such, efforts have been made to warn non combatants out of danger areas. Where is your Condemnation of Lebanon for harboring Hezboliah? Where is your condemnation of Iran for suppyling them?
The Israel left Lebanon and still gets attacked. They Gave up Gaza lock stock and barrel. So rather than do something constructive, the Palestinian vote a Hamas Government and launch rockets. What the hell do you want a nation to do??

PS. Hey, I thought I pushed you off the bridge? Next time I'll add weight.....

Here's a Reality check for you. Most of us find you to be a prick!

First of all:

- civillian should be civilian
- Palestine does not exist, there are only Palistinian territories
- universaly should be universally
- too many "have"s in your last sentence (too bad Yahoo! Answers does not provide a grammer check)

Now to the gist of your question:

Israel is not indiscriminately bombing targets in Lebanon. They have very efficiently and carefully chosen their targets and hit them precisely. Innocent people have been killed due to their proximity to Hezbollah controlled areas. This is unfortunate but expected. Hezbollah uses innocent human shields. If Israel wanted to destroy Lebanon they would have already done so - tens of thousands would be dead.

Perhaps you should do more reading and educate yourself more, and maybe take an English class in the process.

***So that's what you call your balls... I wouldn't touch them with a 10-foot poll. And it should be "... you're too..." - definitely take an English class, dude***

****hilarious - your jokes are almost as good as your spelling! That's quite an accomplishment!***

Because Lebanon, Syria, and Hezbollah ignored Resolution 1559, which required Hezbollah to disarm. Since Hezbollah (and other terrorist groups) won't put on uniforms and fight like a real nation-state, there really is no "civilian" infrastructure. Absent civilian infrastructure, there is no breach of international Law.

y1. International law is an oxy-moron.
2. The UN ignores what we call international law more than any single country.
3. Israel is bombing structures that terrorists are using to attack them.
4. Civilians are dying because Hezbollah won't allow them to leave the war zone.

If a man with a rocket stands on the roof of a home and shoots it, the home that he is standing on loses its protected status as a civilian structure.

If it was a hospital, and that same man stood on the roof with a rocket, the hospital would lose its protected status as well.

There can be no law telling someone that they cannot defend themselves. Besides, if it truly was indiscriminate bombing of civilian structures, don't you think there would be more destruction? Hezbollah is doing the indiscriminate bombing of structures, as they lack the technology to accurately aim their rockets and missiles. If it wasn't for gravity, they wouldn't hit the ground. Where is the outcry and pressure on Hezbollah to stop randomly firing rockets into Israel?

HERE WE GO WITH ANOTHER LOADED QUESTION..
THE INDISCRIMINATE BOMBING OF CIVILIAN INFRASTRUCTURE AS YOU WOULD LIKE EVERYONE ELSE TO BELIEVE, IS JUST BEING DONE TO RUIN A CITY..
NOTE THE WAY PEOPLE LIKE YOU, NEVER MENTION THAT THE TERRORIST SCUMBAGS, JUST SO, HAPPEN TO USE THESE CIVILIAN BUILDINGS, TO STORE AND HIDE THEIR WEAPONS..
SOME ARE EVEN TURNED INTO FIRING POSITIONS..
BUT, THEN PEOPLE LIKE YOU DONT MENTION THAT FACT ALL TO OFTEN..
AN OVERWHELMING MAJORITY HAVE CONDEMNED THE ACTION OF ISRAEL..YES OF COURSE, BY ALL THE COUNTRIES THAT ARE SO **** SCARED, OF UP SETTING TERRORISTS, IN CASE THEY MIGHT SET OF SOME BOMBS IN THEIR COUNTRIES..
WERE WAS THE CONDEMNATION, WHEN HEZBOLLAH WERE CONTINUALLY FIRING ROCKETS INTO ISRAEL..
WHY HAVE THE LEBANESE GOVERNMENT,
NOT DONE A DAMN THING TO TRY AND STOP. HEZBOLLAH'S ATTACKS ON ISRAEL..
THE UNITED NATIONS.. THAT GREAT AND ILLUSTRIOUS ORGANISATION.. THAT CANT EVEN SET A FOOT IN AFRICA TO STOP MILLIONS OF PEOPLE BEING KILLED..
WE CANT GO THERE..
SO LETS TRY AND STOP ISRAEL, FROM ATTACKING THOSE POOR PALESTINIANS, AND THOSE POOR HEZBOLLAH PEOPLE..
THE USA WAS ATTACKED.. AND IT HIT BACK..JUST AS THE ISRAELI'S ARE DOING NOW..

Isaeli attacks are not against Lebanon as such, but against Hezbolla installations which the Lebanese government can't or won't stop from attacking Israel. Hezbolla terrorists often surround their military installations with women and children ("human shields") in order to discourage the more humane Israeli forces from attacking them to prevent attacks on Israei civilians. What would you do? It's a sticky problem, but it shows clearly that it is the Hezbolla who are willing to have civilians killed, more than the Israelis.

the UN had no weight, it's a mere wrist slap and being polite about the issues, but many time the UN will condemn an action but then never do anything about it ( Mogadisu and other African countries where wholesale slaughter took place while the UN looked on ), so in effect who cares what the UN says

YOU BIG DUMMY !! Don't you read and listen to the news? Israel was attacked. What part of self-defense don't you understand???

Israel is surrounded by crazies who want to kill them and wipe Israel off the map. If Canada lobbed rockets into Chicago, do you think the USA would ignore it??

1. Because the U.N. is completely obsolete.
2. Because there is a deeper issue going on that involves Israel's right to exist.
3. Kofi Annan is a Muslim. Hmmm. Let me think...just why WOULD he be against Israel's defending itself. Gee that's a tough one.
