By all means sweets! Every girl should have "sweet 16" party.
Will your mom and maybe one of your close friends be willing to help do some planning and maybe some errands for you while you are gone? You can certainly keep in touch over the phone!
This is an important birthday (or it should be, it sure was when I turned 16) I know things have certainly changed in the last 34 years but you should still celebrate this milestone.
Well, you have a great time while you are away, and an even greater time when you return. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEET 16!!! I hope you have the greatest party EVER!!

No thats the way i thought at that age.Your far to young you have your whole life to live.I'm 32 now and wore my liver out.A drink could kill me.I think the reason for that is ,is because my organs were not fully develope yet.I was 15,16 when i started drinking.Now im at that age where i go on cruise ships and fun vacations and i would love to have a drink but cant.Please remember this always no matter what you choose, but don't think of it as well im turning 16 i guess ill go out and get hammered.Just say no.I thought i would never tell any one that but now i see why it is told to so many.God bless.
