I am emphasizing the word "common" here, people.
I just want to know if you have recognized any interesting things about religions, languages, cultures that seem to have a common basis in principle, idea, structure, symbol, characters in persons or creatures, etc...

I would like to know your insights, knowledge or wisdom on symbolism, mythical or religious characters, and principles of the various cultures of our world and how they commonly relate to eachother, not how they oppose, differentiate or contrast.

I guess the best answer would be from my book; "The Plain Truth About God-101" (what the church doesn't want you to know!)

I use the term invent for the spiritual / religious experiences of our distant ancestors, but there is much more to it than that!

There now seems to be as many different types of spiritual beliefs and practices as there are groups or tribes in the world.

In spite of this diversity of belief systems, there is an underlying commonality that is present in every practitioner of every belief!

This common denominator is very simply the overwhelming need to have that belief system in the first place.

There are so many types of belief's present in the world today that they naturally cannot all be right. It seems logical that only one of them could be the "True" religion.

This by default means that all the rest are wrong. (Actually, in the light of day they are probably all wrong to a greater or lesser degree.)

Anthropologist and Neuroscientists have large lists of commonalities between humans despite regional and cultural background. Our minds come with a preset learning strategy from our genetics that gets us to develop these common ideas. Some of these common features include the general architecture of language as a sent of specific phonetic devices used in a specific order, the recognition and deifnition of colors, the recognition of a mother/father relationships, the sensations of guilt, hope, love, the idea of ownership and theft, as well as the idea of respected authorities. More of these commonalities and the reasons humans think so similarly despite their origin are discussed in the books listed below.
