Your son comes "first". You should have thought about your career and your aspirations before bringing a child into t he world. If you can do it and include your son, fine. But if you cannot make it work around your son... don't do it.

Never give up on your dreams. All choices in life are regulated by personal priority. If you think a musical career is more important than raising your infant child, you should give that child to a family that makes their #1 priority raising children
A 1-year old child requires the love and care of another person 24x7, and will continue to require TLC for many years.
Just the fact that you would ask such a question convinces me that you should be a singer - NOT a parent. You should also consider sterilization so there's no possibility that your career is interrupted.

YOu have a child, so yo have to be a mother. That is not an option. But you don't have to giv eup your dreams. Just because you think you can sing doesn't mean you can. But think about the fact that your career could get in the way of your son, not the other way around. Singing is not a reliable industry. There's no guarentee you'll be able to support your sefl that way. Make responsible choices. It's not about you anymore. If you were so focused on your dreams, (no offense) you wouldn't have allowed yourself to get pregnant in the first place.

When you become a parent you have to be willing to put your children above everything else. Your life was yours before , once you make the choice to bring another life into the world then it is your responsibility to make sure all his needs are met before yours. This includes food, shelter and emotional needs. It is time to grow up. Give him the best life you can and all the attention you can. Get a job that provides for him and do right by him . Worrying about him being in your way is selfish and that is not a word that should come to mind when thinking about the word "mother". If you can not do what you need to do for him then you need to let someone who can do it and get out of his life to pursue your own selfish needs. Think about it though when you are 80 what is going to be more important .... you sang on stage or you raised a healthy , happy child who went on to be a good person .

You shouldnt give up your dream of becoming a singer, just delay it for a while. You son deserves your full attention. I have to tell you though your opening question of "will my son be in the way of my singing career?" bothers me. Your child shouldnt feel like a burden upon you. You have different responsibilities now then you did 1 year and nine months ago. Welcome to motherhood.

Never give up on your dream, but reality is you have a son, so you have to learn to balance yourself between the two. But in the end , you should put your son first!

No, you just need to learn how to have plenty of time with your son, aswell as time for your music. Just remember you need to be there for your son. Don't give up on your music, anything is possible!

don't give up on your dreams, but remenber, many many people try and fail in the music industry. I'm not saying do't try, but be realistic and have a back-up career.
