Nah, there's nothing wrong with that. Dreams give you hope and something to try to acheive. Concentrating on your problems will make you feel depressed. Just try to do things that would make your dreams seem more realistic so eventually they might be! Why do you want to stop daydreaming? It can't be that bad. I do it all the time and love it. If daydreaming takes up time that you should be spending on thinking about your problems, then don't try solving them on your own. Ask questions on here. Let other people give you advice. You could also find time for daydreaming, like before you go to sleep, riding on the bus/train, etc. I have a bad habit of becoming bored in the middle of a conversation with someone. i start daydreaming and respond to them without even knowing what I'm saying. One thing that helps me is, if I feel myself start to do it, I tell myself to stop. It also helps to repeat everything that someone says in your mind, as if you're mocking them. you don't need a psychologist, just don't worry about it as much.

I love dreaming. I don't like to daydream at work but, other than that. I love the dreams when you wake up in the morning and it feels like it really happened. Don't worry about seeking help, you are normal. Without dreams, there would be no hope.

I MAY NOT BE THE RIGHT PERSON TO ANSWER THIS--HA HA, I DO THE EXACT SAME THING. I THINK IT'S JUST AN ESCAPE AND AS LONG AS YOU'RE STILL DEALING WITH THE THINGS THAT ARE GOING ON IN YOUR LIFE, JOB, WHATEVER THEN IT'S FINE. I DAYDREAM ALOT, ABOUT HAVING THIS GREAT LIFE, GREAT LOVERS, GREAT MONEY, GREAT BODY, GREAT CLOTHES THE WHOLE NINE YARDS. I FEEL LIKE I'M STILL PRODUCTIVE IN MY LIFE, JOB, HOUSE, AND NOTHING GETS NEGLECTED SO I DON'T CARE---IT'S FUN. IT'S ALOT HEALTHIER THAN DRUGS OR ALCOHOL.
