Do you think that women should date men younger than them?

If you do at least give a good reason to why. My opionion is if you love them, then their age shouldn't matter. But I want to know what other people think about that, so answer away!!!!!

If you asked me this question a few years ago, I would have said it is okay to date men five years younger, but not much younger. However, at the beginning of this year, a guy who's twelve years younger than I am approached me at the gym. I rebuffed him initially, but as the months passed, I became attracted to him. I saw how he would help people at the gym. He seemed like a genuinely nice person, and he kept flirting with me by looking into my eyes frequently. So I've decided to give him a chance. He's definitely great dating/boyfriend material, but I wouldn't think of him as a marriage candidate for me. What's important about relationships is learning and growing. What a relationship boils down to in the end is how two people relate to one another. If you find someone who you can talk with, spend quality time with, and just have fun with, that's a blessing. A large age difference can eventually kill a relationship, but try to enjoy the person for as long as you can. All relationships eventually come to an end -- either through loss of interest, change of interest, or death. All things that you love so dearly in life, you will eventually lose: your loved ones, your body, etc. So yes, I think it's okay for women to date younger men. Men date younger women all the time.

Why not? As long as both of them are over 18, in love, and compatible, then age shouldn't make any difference. I dated a couple of guys that were younger than me. We didn't have any problems.

Your opinion is right. If you both love-or like- eachother, there shouldn't be a problem at all. However, the law finds it wrong, unless your parents and/or his are okay with it. Nonetheless, it shouldn't be a crime to do so. I know someone who has a girlfriend who is much younger than he is. Everything is working fine. Both of their perents are fine with it. All what you need is love.

yes my husband is 40 and I'm 69, we met 19 years ago in my home, his best Friend was dating my daughter, he had just gotten out of the Navy and we hit it right off. In my opinion a may December relationship is the way to go.
